This page explains what data Apegio collects, why, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the service and to make the AI better. We do not sell your data.

What we collect

• Account data: email and phone number you provide at signup.
• Device fingerprint: a browser fingerprint hash to detect duplicate accounts and abuse.
• Slip data: the fixtures and picks you submit for analysis, and the AI's response (verdicts, odds, edge, reasoning).
• Screenshots: uploaded images are sent to our AI model for OCR and are not stored on our servers. Only the extracted text is kept.
• Usage data: credit purchases, credit spend, and timestamps.

What we don't collect

• We do not collect your Betway login, balance, or any bookmaker credentials.
• We do not track you across other websites.

Why we collect it

• To run the service: authenticate you, spend/refund credits, show your history.
• To improve the AI: we review anonymized slip data and AI verdicts to find where the model is weak and to retrain prompts. This is the "learning loop".
• To fight abuse: device fingerprints help stop one person from farming multiple free-credit accounts.

Who sees your data

Only Apegio's operators. Slip content is processed by our AI provider (Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway) purely to generate the response. We do not share, sell, or rent your data to advertisers or bookmakers.

How long we keep it

Slip analyses are retained indefinitely to improve the model. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via WhatsApp.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, corrections, or full deletion. Message us on WhatsApp with the request.

Security

Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security. Only you can read your own slips and profile. Passwords are hashed by our auth provider.

Cookies

We use a session cookie / local storage to keep you signed in. No third-party analytics or ad trackers.
